About Lone Star
Lone Star Aerospace has been serving the needs of government agencies and prime contractors since 2003.
We have supported programs and executives with advice, design innovation and analysis.
Lone Star's business model is similar to that pioneered by Dr. Ferdinand Porsche. The roster of highly skilled engineers, managers, and drivers in his firm were larger than any firm twice as large. Porsche offered this cadre of talent to other firms, eventually forming the Porsche Design Group.
Like Porsche, Lone Star provides highly skilled help to larger firms, and to government organizations. Like Porsche, we also have our won product development.
Lone Star approaches each client's needs with an eye toward adding value.
- Our contributions are far more seasoned than the industry average, and have made a difference in nearly every type of aerospace and defense effort.
- We often team to deliver best value for our customers - Lone Star has teamed with more than 20 other organizations since we were founded.
- We bring an intellectual property portfolio much larger than most small firms can muster.
- We maintain benchmarking data on a wide range of commercial and aerospace topics, including a strong emphasis on best practice benchmarking.
- We offer rapid design and prototyping work, including a turn-key advanced concept development capability. We can work from a typical set of requirements, but we are comfortable with a blank sheet of paper.
